Our Strategic Marketing Manager works to develop and deliver a marketing strategy which supports our overarching commercial aims. They are responsible for leading our outreach, events, and communications, originating and commissioning campaign elements as needed. The successful Strategic Marketing Manager will maximize the impact of all activity, leading to a healthy and diverse pipeline, and to ongoing financial success for the business.
Key Responsibilities • Develops a marketing strategy which supports the company’s overarching commercial aims; responsible for delivering against that strategy; reports on effectiveness to ensure strong ROI • Oversees outreach, visits, and events, ensuring a consistent pipeline • Guardian of our brand, tone-of-voice, and visual identity • Oversees management of our CRM platform (Hubspot) • Identifies and analyses existing and new markets, and new opportunities • Develops the marketing calendar; plans and manages all activity • Manages the marketing budget • Develops the PR strategy to communicate Dalton Maag’s key messages to press • Builds and manages the Marketing team • Oversees the creation of briefs for marketing campaigns and content • Oversees the creation of written material including social media copy, press releases, client content, and website case studies
Essential Skills • 6+ years’ experience in a similar strategic or senior marketing role • Excellent commercial awareness • Excellent communication skills; fluent in verbal and written English • Ability to develop, communicate, and lead project management frameworks which deliver consistent high-quality results • Highly organized and structured approach with the ability to lead a programme of work with multiple projects at various stages of development, and adapt to changing priorities • Collaborative team-player with the ability to work independently or as part of a team; able to give and receive constructive feedback • Self-directed and eager to learn more about our services, relationships, and clients • Experience in marketing analytics and reporting • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field
Desirable Skills • Experience in a B2B, ideally creative, industry • Long-term thinker with a keen interest in design • Copywriting and editing experience
