Building on recent growth, a rebrand and an industry-leading lineup of agencies, this is an exciting opportunity to join the Consumer Marketing team. We’ve got big plans ahead and are looking for a dedicated teammate with passion and an ambitious spirit to come with us on the journey.

Key responsibilities

As Media Manager working within the Brand team, you’ll manage media planning for and activation of our consumer (top and mid-funnel) marketing. You’ll drive all areas from briefing to managing the media plan to activation to analysis. Working hand-in-hand with our media agency and internal analysts, you’ll help identify the right media and investment to grow our brand reach and influence with the right audiences. Above all, your work will impact how the nation sees and experiences Zoopla across their home journey.

On a Daily Basis you will:

  • Help define our media and activation vision, in line with our brand and overall marketing strategy. You’ll be the champion of this, keeping everyone focused on how to make the Zoopla brand stand out in culture and with consumers.
  • Manage our external media agency to plan, execute and measure our always-on paid media. And manage our external digital agency to develop activations that accelerate impact across priority audiences and moments.
  • Support consumer campaign development, interrogate and own decisions on media investment and channel laydown. You’ll partner with internal analysts to combine audience insight, data and previous marketing performance to ensure that paid media choices successfully translate to Zoopla brand growth. Including but not limited to TV, VOD, Cinema, OOH, Audio, YouTube, Display, Social.
  • Take command of a short and long-term testing plan – in partnership with our media agency – to help Zoopla identify and leverage the right paid media toolkit and messaging for the right audience. You’ll represent and share this with wider Consumer Marketing and Product teams for ongoing optimisation.
  • Partner closely with the acquisition marketing team to ensure we balance commercial needs with longer term brand building. And with social and PR marketing teams to ensure we centralise brand growth efforts across paid, owned and earned media.
  • Keep stakeholders up to date, share plans and ongoing performance, consult with other marketing teams to ensure consistency and input your strategic view into quarterly/annual marketing planning.
  • Continually raise the bar for what success looks like, what our brand should stand for and how our media and marketing gets talked about.

Essential skills

  • You have a proven track record (6+ years) of building brand marketing, media and campaign efforts. Whether that’s for another consumer brand, within a technology company or start up.
  • You have a strong understanding of brand and how it grows through the art and science of marketing. You have an openness to understanding how it will strategically work for Zoopla, and owning the direction we need to take.
  • You’re not necessarily a deep channel specialist, but are comfortable with the broad suite of paid media (offline and online). You understand how it works and can connect the approach we take to brand and business ROI.
  • You have previous experience working with, and managing external agencies. You’re confident interrogating and challenging media decisions.
  • You’re comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility and regular sharing across multiple workstreams, internal departments and external agencies.
  • You’re proactive and passionate, with a solutions-driven mindset and sense of responsibility to deliver alongside the team.
  • You’re an excellent communicator with strong verbal and written storytelling skills. You bring energy and enthusiasm to conversations and group sessions.
